HOW IT WORKS
Pick a side. Hold the line. Take the loot.
Choose your tribe.
$5 to enter. Recruit your friends. More bodies = better odds.
Win the headcount war, split the loser's pot. Reset next week.
THE MATH
Every entry is a flat $5. At the end of the week the side with more players wins. The house takes 10% of the total pot and the rest is split equally among the winning side.
per_winner_payout = (total_pot × 0.9) ÷ winning_headcount 250 EAST vs 200 WEST total pot $2,250 house cut (10%) -$225 distributable $2,025 EAST wins → $2,025 ÷ 250 = $8.10 each (+$3.10 profit) WEST → out their $5

FAQ
Is this gambling?
It's a headcount contest. You're not betting on odds — you're recruiting bodies to your side. Every entry costs the same $5, so nobody can buy the win.
What if it's a tie?
Nobody loses. The round is voided and every player gets their $5 back as balance.
Can I join both sides?
No. One entry per account per round, enforced at the database level. And no switching after you've claimed.
What if barely anyone plays?
If a round finishes with fewer than 20 total entries it's voided and everyone is refunded. No fun with five players.
Why does it lock at the end?
Entries close for the final hour so nobody can snipe the result at the buzzer. The map shows LOCKED — NO RETREAT.
How do I get paid?
Winnings land in your balance the moment the round settles. Let it ride into next week or withdraw it. (Payments are simulated in this demo.)
